Managing Accounts in the Chart of Accounts

To view all accounts in RunSensible, click on the Chart of Accounts tab. This will display a table of all the accounts in your system, organized for easy reference. The Chart of Accounts table is structured with four main columns: Account Number, Name, Type, and Balance.

The Number column features a unique numerical identifier assigned to each account, aiding in organization and quick reference. The Name column provides a descriptive title for each account, clearly indicating its purpose. The Type column classifies the account based on its category, offering insight into its role within the financial structure. Finally, the Balance column displays the total amount associated with each account, reflecting the sum of all inflows, outflows, and adjustments. This balance offers a quick snapshot of the financial status of each account.
